1. How long does it take to build a custom home?

The timeline can vary based on size, complexity, weather, and permitting, but most custom homes take 6 to 12 months from the start of construction. We’ll provide a realistic schedule and keep you updated throughout the entire process.

2. Can I bring my own house plans or do you provide design services?

Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own plans, or we can recommend trusted architects and designers we’ve worked with. We’ll collaborate with you to ensure the plans meet your vision, budget, and the site requirements.

3. What areas do you build in?

We proudly build throughout Middle Georgia, including Baldwin, Bibb, Bleckley, Crawford, Hancock, Houston, Jones, Laurens, Monroe, Peach, Putnam, Twiggs, and Wilkinson counties.

4. Are you a licensed builder?

Yes. Mike Hamrick is a State Licensed Residential Contractor and also holds a Level 1A Certification from the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission.

5. How involved will I be in the building process?

We believe in open, timely communication and encourage our clients to be as involved as they’d like. From choosing finishes to site visits, we’ll guide you through every step while keeping things efficient and stress-free.

6. Do you use subcontractors or do you have an in-house team?

We work with a trusted network of professional specialty subcontractors and vendors—many we’ve partnered with for over 20 years. Their craftsmanship and reliability are key to the high standards we maintain.

7. How do you handle changes during the construction process?

We understand that changes can come up. We’ll discuss any requested changes, provide a quote or updated timeline, and require written approval before moving forward—so there are no surprises.

8. Do you help with site prep or land clearing?

Yes. We own and operate our own construction equipment, which allows us to handle land clearing, grading, and site prep in-house—saving you time and money.

9. Can you help me secure financing for my custom home?

While we don’t offer financing directly, we can connect you with trusted local lenders who are experienced in construction loans and custom home financing.
